Loan Agreement Rules
When receiving an equine for loan it is agreed that:

this equine remains the property of Brownbread and the Loanee named herein shall not part with possession of this equine except to return it too Brownbread . Permission must be obtained from Brownbread prior to any proposed change in its location.

that this equine is provided with proper food, stabling and care. This care must include regular foot care undertaken by a qualified farrier , regular worming programme advised by your veterinary officer or Brownbread and teeth rasping at least annually.

that an officer of Brownbread shall have the right to inspect this equine at any time

that qualified veterinary treatment shall be provided and advised and strictly followed in every case of illness, disability or accident. All veterinary expenses so incurred will be paid by the Loanee

that the Head of Welfare at Brownbread is notified immediately if, humane destruction of this equine is advised by veterinary officer. If emergency humane destruction takes place a Veterinary Destruction Certificate must be produced promptly and given to Brownbread .

that the police and Brownbread are advised immediately should this equine become lost or missing

that all transport costs. Including the return of this equine to Brownbread , are paid by the Loanee

That this equine shall not under any circumstances be used for breeding purposes

that this equine should not be let out for hire or leave the loanees possession

that with out let or hindrance. re-possession of this equine by Brownbread . shall take place on demand and on receipt of written notification (proof of registered post will be deemed to be evidence of written notification)

that if deemed necessary insurance of this equine must be arranged through Brownbread .

that the Loanee will pay annual subscription to be a member of the "Friends" of Brownbread for the period of loan agreement

additional to the "Friends" subscription the Loanee will pay an annual loan fee of £........... and failure to pay either the "Friends" subscription or the annual loan fee promptly will warrant the immediate return of this equine to Brownbread at the Loanees expense.
I the Loanee, further agree that Brownbread does not except liability for any damage to persons or property that might be caused by this equine whilst in my care.
